Finance Manager

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for the agricultural industry? We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and be part of our management team to drive the business forward. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape financial processes in a dynamic and evolving agricultural environment. 

Required skills and experience-

• Proven experience in financial management, ideally within the agriculture, farming, or agribusiness sector
• Will possess excellent communication and IT skills, be self-motivated, extremely organised and have a proven track record in accounting procedures and staff management
• They will be responsible for the accounting function of the business on the Ibcos Gold software, therefore experience in this software would be an advantage, however training will be given
• This role has a strong focus on accounting and finance therefore the successful applicant must have experience and be confident to run the whole accounting process to include bank and ledger reconciliations, payroll, VAT, sales ledger invoicing and credit control, journal posting and preparation of the yearend for the external Accountants
• A friendly approachable manner for dealing with customers and staff is essential and they must be able to work under their own initiative and provide essential support to the Managing Director and other departments in the business
•  Most importantly be able to work as part of a close team, have a can -do positive attitude and like to come up with solutions to problems

This is an interesting and varied role and an excellent remuneration package is available for the successful candidate.

Hours: 8.00 am—4.00 pm Monday to Friday, ( 37.5 hours per week) however this would be flexible for the right applicant.

Agricultural Technology Specialist– to cover all Depots

We are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Agricultural Technology Specialist covering the North East of Scotland.

The successful candidate will  be responsible for providing technical expertise and assistance related to the application and use of Fendt Technology & Software.

The ideal candidate will work closely with farmers and agricultural businesses to assist them in improving their efficiency and productivity through technological advancements. They will give instructions in the operation of the technology and also assist them with problem-solving any issues which arise on a day-to-day basis.

They will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with ongoing advancements in agricultural technology and software.

This position has an immediate start and would ideally suit candidates from a strong agricultural background.

The successful candidate must be able to work overtime as and when required, including evenings and weekends and in return they will be offered an attractive remuneration package, company vehicle and mobile phone.
