Product Demonstrator- covering all depots

Ross Agri Services Ltd are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a permanent Product Demonstrator to join our busy sales team, supporting customers across the North East of Scotland. This key role will work closely with both our sales and workshop teams to deliver high quality demonstrations of the latest Fendt agricultural machinery. The successful candidate will showcase the safe operation and practical use of a wide range of equipment, including tractors, combines, self-propelled    forage harvesters, balers, grassland machinery, and products from our other leading manufacturers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Demonstrating the safe and effective operation on the latest Fendt machinery, including tractors, combines, forage harvesters, balers, and grassland equipment.

· Showcasing machinery from our wider range of manufacturers to customers across the North East of Scotland.

· Working closely with the sales team to support product demonstrations, customer visits, and on farm trials.

· Liaising with the workshop team to ensure machines are prepared, maintained, and ready for demonstration.

· Explaining key features, benefits, and technology to customers in a clear and confident manner

· Answering customer questions and providing practical, experience-based insights into machine performance and suitability.

SKILLS REQUIRED

· Proven experience operating a wide range of modern agricultural machinery.

· Confident communication skills, both in person and over the phone

· Practical problem solving ability when supporting demonstrations or customer queries.

· High level of professionalism when representing the company on farm and at events.

· Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with sales and workshop teams.

· Good organisational skills to manage demonstration schedules and machine preparation.

· A proactive, enthusiastic approach to showcasing new machinery and technology.

· Full UK driving license (including tractor driving     experience).

· Overtime required during busy periods

St Cyrus - Agricultural Workshop Technician and Mentor (EXCITING NEW ROLE)

We’re looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and hands‑on Workshop Mentor to support the growth and development of our workshop team. This role is ideal for an experienced agricultural engineer or technician who enjoys guiding others, sharing expertise, and helping colleagues build confidence in their skills.

The position is fully workshop‑based, offering a stable, consistent working environment with no requirement for field service or extensive travel. It’s particularly well‑suited to a seasoned technician who wants to stay on the tools but reduce the physical demands of a highly mobile role after many years in the industry.

You’ll continue to work on the tools as part of your day, using real jobs, diagnostics, and Fendt systems as opportunities to coach others, share knowledge, and help develop the next generation of technicians.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Provide on-the-job mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to workshop staff and apprentices
  • Remain actively on the tools, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agricultural machinery, with a strong focus on Fendt products
  • Support the development of individual training plans and monitor progress
  • Demonstrate best practice in workshop processes, safety, and manufacturer standards
  • Encourage a positive, safe, and collaborative working environment
  • Assist with onboarding new technicians and helping them settle into workshop routines
  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager to identify skills gaps and training needs
  • Promote consistent quality standards and ensure work is completed to manufacturer and company expectations
  • Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and customer focus

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong technical background in agricultural machinery, with Fendt/ AGCO Brand experience highly desirable
  • Confident with diagnostics, CAN‑bus systems, and modern agricultural technology
  • Passion for developing others and sharing knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, supportive, and able to adapt your mentoring style to different learning needs
  • Confident in diagnostics, problem‑solving, and modern workshop technologies
  • Comfortable in a workshop‑based role with limited travel or field work
  • A team player who leads with integrity and sets high standards

A job opportunity has arisen and we can offer a fantastic opportunity for a service engineer to join our busy agricultural dealership. You will be joining a highly skilled team of engineers working on premium brands within a modern dealership with first class Fendt manufacture training.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

· Working within our workshops and out in a van

· Working on a wide range of Fendt machinery along with other brands.

· Fault finding and diagnostic

· Engine and transmission repairs

· Ensuring all paperwork is submitted accurately & in a timely manner

· Problem solving under pressure

Job Title: Service Technician

Reports to: Depot Service Manager

Job Overview:

The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of customer machinery. This role involves working both on-site and within the depot, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Accurate completion of job-related documentation is essential to support timely invoicing and customer service delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Daily

  • Carry out scheduled services and mechanical repairs on agricultural machinery, either on-site or at the depot.
  • Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on a variety of equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Raise cases on Tech Connect as needed.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork on the portal, including job cards upon completion of each job.
  • Send daily hours via Whatsapp to Service Administrator.
  • Ensure all job records are complete with relevant details including machine hours, labour, parts used, and photographs (as required). Ensuring unused parts to stores promptly.
  • Warranty parts must be placed in the correct storage area, along with the relevant paperwork, promptly after each job.
  • Follow all company health & safety procedures while working in the workshop or on customer premises.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and other departments to ensure effective job progression.
  • Mentor apprentices and new employees and encourage them to support with the completion of jobs.

Weekly

  • Review outstanding jobs to ensure all work is progressing and properly documented.
  • Assist in checking and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure service readiness and compliance.
  • Liaise with the Service Manager regarding job allocation and scheduling.

Monthly

  • Attend toolbox talks or team briefings relating to safety, service updates, or procedural improvements.
  • Submit reports or feedback regarding machinery performance trends or recurring technical issues to the Service Manager.
  • Participate in service quality audits or process reviews where applicable.

Ad Hoc

  • Attend manufacturer or supplier training courses to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and certification.
  • Support the Service Manager with investigative tasks related to warranty claims, complex diagnostics, or customer concerns.
  • Assist other departments (e.g. Parts or Sales) with technical insight or pre-delivery inspections as required.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs or breakdowns outside of regular hours, when part of the on-call rota (if applicable).
  • Travel to customer sites across the region, sometimes at short notice, to minimise equipment downtime.
